Ella Rawana Den Hotel

This property had a wonderful view over Ella Rock. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The property was very close to the centre of Ella.

If you wanted breakfast, it had to be ordered ahead of time, but there are plenty of restaurants within minutes of the hotel, so it wasn't a problem. The property is on a very steep hill and can be difficult for cars to make their way up, our taxi was able to get up though, but probably good to be aware of this ahead of time. The hotel manager helped us get our luggage down the hill, the day we were leaving, so our taxi didn't have to come all the way up.

Cash only which was not obvious or revealed at the start. Website says there waa a restaurant but this was next door (local family which was nice). Very steep to get to and not super well sign posted. English of the caretaker was limited. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The staff was very kind and flexible. We decided to leave one day early which was no problem. The room was spacious and the balcony offered a nice view.

The road leading to the property is very steep, especially when driving your own tuktuk this was not ideal.

Beautiful views, also tucked away from the commercial street! Lovely bedroom and staff. Easy check in and check out too!

Even though the hotel is away from the main strip, the sound reverberating off the mountains from the clubs and bars goes until 2-3am. This might be the same for most Ella hotels but we only stayed here.

We booked the deluxe room!! 100% not worth the money of 45€ per night. Not deluxe at all. Mold everywhere in the bathroom No nightstands next to the bed Balcony 100% different than on the photos - you have one big shared balcony with the room next to you with a railing Only 1 sunbed per room Completely broken floor on balcony VERY NOISY every night big party in Ella Host did not help us how to get to Ella from the south

So,this location is very near to the famous chill cafe.. There are all positives in this place. Very nice clean rooms Caretaker is also very nice and helpful. View is nice all in all nothing to point out

Only negative is that it is made on quite a steep hill road. You can't take an auto or car just right in front of the hotel.. Henceforth need to drag your bags a bit.. Which is possible if you check in before dark.. As in night the area is pitch dark.. But otherwise no problem with the hotel at all

The mattress and pillow are really bad quality. Also it was cold and the cover they provided didn’t help. I slept wearing my full winter clothes.
