Good location, good value for money, host was very nice

Rooms were quite warm - no AC

Nearby the railway station (5 mins) and the old fort (15 mins). Made to feel welcome and the host let me put some drinks in her fridge.

The host Linda was very kind, friendly and helpful. There are two small ponds with plants and fish. One of them was just beside our window..

Cheap. Close to train and bus stations.

Not being able to access property if owners not around. For example, I had to be out of the room between 10am and 2 pm because they needed to visit someone in hospital on one of the days. Also, when I arrived no one was there so had to wait in the rain for 20 minutes although it states 24hr reception. This is a spare room in someone's house.

The location is excellent. Just a few minutes away from a park over the main road that then leads onto the Galle Fort. As a foreigner you have to pay 350 rupees to go in but worth it to get some shade from the heat and it's a nice park. The accommodation is like spending time at a relatives house, homely. The owner Linda is a lovely lady who makes you feel welcome in her home.

The room and washroom was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Check out time was wayy too early and no windows in the room.

1 they asked if we could leave with 11 am where as our leaving time is 4pm. Bad Manners 2. at first refuse to give wifi 3. Room is very tiny 4. No proper ventilation 5. Towel they gave us were like baby towel, old and very small
