Linda Cottage

Linda is very welcoming and helpful. It feels like home away from home.

It was far too hot to stay here, lots of mosquitos too. It would be fine during weather that is not too hot but avoid otherwise.

The room itself was okay. A bit weird because it was right next to the living room/kitchen of her home.

It seems dodgy. A neighbour of her warnes me of her saying ahe would steal from people. I wouldn‘t recommend to stay. I know that shes been in my room. I am now missing 40 Euros out of my backpack BUT I only realized 1 week later so it couldve been someone else also.

The location is very good.

The room was dark and in the middle of the house. The toilet was close where people eat...

Only 5 mins from the fort. Beside local prison. Good location. Very quiet..

I was so lucky to find this cute Linda's place in the perfect location, just a 2-3 walk from the Galle fort and the bus station. My room was cosy, clean with a big comfy bed. Linda is a great host and if I ever come back to Galle (hopefully) I'll definitely stay at her cottages! 🙂Thank you Linda!

Linda is so happy, friendly and helpful. Her home is within easy walking distance to both the bus and train stations as well as the Fort. I slept really well and found her home very quiet. It is off the main road so couldn't hear traffic noise. Linda was really nice and let me leave my bag there in the morning and come back for a quick shower before I took the bus to Colombo. She also provided lots of local tips for food, sites and transport. I can't recommend her home more highly!
