Lake Batur Cottage

I had an amazing stay here. The place was clean and was smelling nice, the small natural hot spring pool in the front is really relaxing and the breakfast is delicious. The host, Ketut, is friendly and always available to assist whenever you need something. I'd love to stay here again.

Nice stay in the crater. Good value, new and clean rooms. Lovely garden. Basic accommodation butbgreat if you don't need anything fancy

We only stayed there for 2 nights but we very much appreciated our stay. Our host (Ketut) spent a lot of time chatting with us and sharing experiences, which we loved. He helped booking the transport on our last day. The room that we had was big and the bed was comfortable. No AC in the room but there is a fan, which is more than enough with the temperatures that you can get. Good breakfast included in the price. Our host helped booking the Mt Batur hike (with a guide) for the sunrise and he lent us his motorbike to get to the starting point early in the morning. We very much enjoyed the little hotsprings (which you can see on the pictures, at the bottom of the cottage stairs).

1. An extra piece of furniture would be appreciated (especially if we need to hang clothes in the room). 2. There wasn't much choice to eat around Ketut's place so on our arrival day it was difficult to find somewhere to have lunch. If we had known, we would have asked our driver to stop earlier while we were still on our way to Lake Batur Cottage.
