The Garway Moon Inn

We were going to Oldfield Forge which is just a 5 minute drive so perfect for collapsing back into a proper pub after a hard day slinging hammers around (not my normal day!). The staff were all very friendly and the food was excellent. Our room was quirky with exposed beams but also had a fridge and all mod cons. It’s our third stay and should my husband come up with something else for us to make out of metal we shall definitely return.

Located exceptional close to the oldfield forge. Food and beer in the pub excellent and reasonably priced. Staff all really helpful and accommodating. We stayed in sunny room really enjoyed it

Didn't bother us but noise from pub downstairs may put some off but if you know you are staying in a public house you know what to expect. Beds comfy so not a problem. We slept well.

Food was great and the room very comfortable.

A few low beams, so mind your head.

Wish I could have stayed longer

From the moment we stepped foot through the door, we knew we had made a fantastic stay. The staff was very friendly, and locals made us feel like family. The food was delicious, we had an evening meal that was full of flavour and good size portions too. My husband had the olives for starters, and I had cheesy chips. For our mains, we had the chicken curry and the chicken shwarma. They did not disappoint. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfy, lots of tea and coffee options with a nice touch of fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge.The breakfast in the morning was amazing with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.

That we had only booked one nights stay!

Great room. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and served on demand. Great service.
