Well run attentive staff Good food

Lovely family run community pub. Very remote but ideal for the local forge where we spent a two day course.

The friendly nature of the staff, the amazing portions for dinner, the cozy room and the welcoming nature of the locals in the bar.

Nothing comes to mind.

The room was lovely but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The noise from rhe pub was a little more than expected.

I requested an early book in and my reply was if nor able to do early book in would happily hold bags. On my booking.com the request was excepted for early book in. We arrived and no one was around. The number we had, had no answer at all. We requested to check in between 1 and 2 pm. We didn't get any answer until 4 45 pm. Extremly disappointing. And no answer to messages

A well equipped kitchen and good amount of space with comfortable sofa and bed

Bathroom in much need of the bath replacing - damaged plastic has splits in the bottom, it must be leaking and sealant much repaired and messy.

We have been in and out of hotels.Twenty nine days straight, they were so comfortable.So accommodating kind.Their breakfast was simple but delicious more so than any other breakfast.We've had.

Upgraded to an apartment so lots of space, comfy bed, all clean! Milk and tea and coffee available, went to the pub for the evening where the landlord and regulars were amazing company. All very friendly. Super homey feel in the restaurant with the fire going in the morning
