The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were excellent (featuring the full English breakfast), the rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the beds. The inn is off the main street, so if you're looking for quiet, it's ideal.

Top-Lage. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Guter Service

Frühstück erst ab 9 Uhr. Das letzte Frühstück konnte wegen der frühen Abreise nicht wahrgenommen werde. Eine komplette Erstattung hatten wir nicht erwartet. Aber eine kleine Geste schon. Das war nicht der Fall. Der Preis wurde komplett fällig. Zum Abschied gab es weder eine höfliche Nachfrage, ob einem der Aufenthalt gefallen habe, noch der Wunsch einer guten Reise.

We loved the charm and history of this lovely Inn and won’t hesitate to return as it really is the perfect base to explore Castleton and the numerous walks around Hope Valley
