The George Inn

We loved everything about our stay. The staff were so friendly and amenable. It was easy to park right outside The George Inn. The bed was a good, comfortable size, and so was the room. The added bonus was having a small fridge in the room, which is quite unusual. We enjoyed having a meal there and sitting outside the front of the pub watching the Morris dancers. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. We loved the atmosphere of this place. We could see how The George Inn would be the heart of the community. The atmosphere was amazing. We could not fault the staff. They were friendly and attentive. Smiles all round. We would highly recommend it to others.It was definitely top drawer!

The room was very warm. Therefore, it would have been great if there was a fan that could have been used during the night. As we only stayed one night, it was not a huge issue

Location was perfect. Staff and facilities were so lovely, nice little touches. Was surprised at how much food choice there was and all so brilliant from breakfast to dinner. Had a lovely time!

The George Inn is the most incredible venue for any event, especially walking or just relaxing! Beautiful public house in a glorious setting. Fantastic food and reasonably priced! The staff are just lovely with a great can do attitude and their customer service is perfect! Many thanks you all made our 40th wedding anniversary weekend just perfect! Will definitely be back to Castleton and especially the George Inn.

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff. Great food menu. Comfortable room with everything needed to make our stay a pleasant one. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Car park a little tight, so if you have a big car or aren't too experienced, you might struggle a little.
