We received a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay all of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really liked that breakfast is cooked to order and even the cereals and juices were served to our table. We had our evening meals in the pub and the food was delicious with a decent choice for us as vegetarians. The Lord Byron is easily accessible from the motorway with a park and ride a short walk away if required to get into Cambridge. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Cambridge

We loved the hospitality shown by the staff, and all meals in the restaurant (2 breakfasts and an evening meal) were of excellent quality. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The property was conveniently located for our needs, and for Cambridge and the surrounding area. Very close to a branch of Waitrose. Reasonably priced.

Decor and furnishings are a little tired
