Every thing was perfect ! The room, the property, the food and the staff were all just perfect ! A lovely treat for my wifes birthday.

"Lovely old pub with quality accommodation, food and drink"

Character pub offering high quality furnishings, food and drink. Friendly and helpful staff. Located in a beautiful village close to East Midlands airport and Donington Hall and circuit. On site brewery beers were great!

Our room was on the top floor and negotiating the second steep staircase was a challenge for us oldies. The room was well appointed although the bed was too soft for our preference and the heating difficult to control. It did not come on at all in the morning until breakfast time. There is no car park at the premises although parking by the church is only 100 yds away.
