The Spirit Vaults was a really nice place to stay and was part of a brewery / Pub. The beers were excellent. We had a cosy top floor room that was comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee. The breakfast was included in the price and one of the best full breakfast I have had in a very long time. Melbourne has a lot to offer but the Sprit Vaults was the place to eat / drink and socialize.

The building is old and the only thing I could say was the window above our bed was drafty but in no way affected our stay and the heating in the room was good.

"Great place to stay in the area"

Really enjoyable place to stay, great location for Donington Park. Food and drink is brilliant, always eat here and never disappoints. The best breakfast I’ve ever experienced!

Not much at all. The bathroom door stuck a little which just needs some adjusting.

We liked everything about The Spirit Vaults. The room was clean, warm, and thoughtfully presented. The bed was comfortable. The water was hot. A kettle with coffee and teas available in the room. Breakfast was prepared individually and was delicious. The location is opposite Melbourne Hall and lake - nice for a walk. And easy walking into the centre of town. We would recommend, and would stay here again

"Visiting to attend a Friends wedding. Beautiful friendly pub in village."

Friendly staff,clean delicious breakfast.

Some people may not like fact no parking but we managed to get a spot right outside. Also mistaking I booked a small double not properties fault but room was a squeeze. Room was immaculate.

"Disappointed as expected better accommodation"

Full English was offered

Shower fell down, water pressure dropped and could on get cold water . Single beds , not a double bed and low beams so had to be careful not to bump heads. Staircase to room was very steep and tricky to climb. After 11.30pm access was via outside fire escape .
