Studio with Private Entrance next to Balboa Park

The place was moldy and uninhabitable for me. I spoke with the manager and was told I'd receive a partial refund. I have not and still am waiting on the refund.

I liked that the room was OK and clean

I had an awful experience at the studio. A shirtless man opened the door to my room and stood there in the dark at 11pm at night!!! I shouted loudly at him to leave my room and he did. I was completely vulnarable as I lay there asleep. He must have known the code both to the gate and to my room. This is completely unacceptable!!!! I did not feel safe and had no other choice but to pack all my things and immidiately leave the room and find a new safer accomodation. I didn't know if he or another person would come back again. I want my money back. And I can not recommend for anyone to rent this studio. What would have happened if I was a woman? Or a smaller weaker man who could not react the way I did?

The room I had was a bit away from everyone, so it was perfect for me! There's a CVS right behind you, so whatever you forget, you can get. Nothing was too far away. Honestly a very comfortable room

Maybe a fresh paint for the walls and something to seal the space between the door?

This studio is located very close to Balboa Park, downtown, the Mid-SS Museum, and the seaport. Although you would have to walk for at least 20–30 minutes, it’s a very nice location with most things included. Quick guide: You can take bus 3 or 120 from downtown, and it will stop nearby the studio. MTS bus is about $2.50 per ride, or you can get the monthly pass for $72. If you walk to Little Italy, you can take the green line to the seaport, which will save you time walking. Seaport has many small shopping places, and it's the perfect place to buy some souvenirs for your loved ones. Little Italy offers many wonderful restaurants, and I recommend Coco Maya or Davanti for happy hour deals.  Mid-SS Museum is about $35, and I say it's worth the price considering how big the place is. The food at the museum is expensive. Coronado: You can take bus 902 from downtown to get to the Coronado or take the ferry by the seaport. The pizza place by the bay offers a happy hour option, and it's really huge slices of pizza. Balboa Park: there are many wonderful museums here; the ticket usually goes for $20. And I especially recommend making your stop at the Japanese Botanical Garden. This place makes you feel like you are in nature and gives you time to relax. I think the ticket was about $18 to enter. San Diego Zoo: It's a huge place, and free parking is available here. The ticket is approximately $76, but you can always find a deal through booking. The lift in the zoo gives you an overall view, which is worth it. I also recommend riding the tour bus (for 40 minutes). This saves you time walking around the zoo.

The rental is clean, the staff flexible and accommodating and it was easy for me to go from the rental to the convention center for the conference.

The tub was not draining properly.
