The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay

Breakfast was delicious.

It was everything we hoped for and more. We had the downstairs apartment which was spacious and comfortable. The views, despite the rain, were amazing. And the breakfasts were gourmet standard.

Everything. Michelle thought of every detail perfectly. They had kayaks you could borrow, an outside bbq facility, the rooms were perfect and it felt like a lot of care went into it. We also got a home made dessert and the most amazing breakfast. 11/10

Exceptional breakfast and very fine owners

It’s the little things that really add to your experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well laid out. There are no restaurants in Coal harbour so Meschel heated up our dinner. We we’re also given a delicious appetiser and a dessert to top it off. The breakfast was outstanding. The quality of the food was amazing. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We took the kayak out for a couple of hours which was very enjoyable. I thoroughly recommend staying here.

Outstanding and special The Inn on Stephens Bay is just fantastic…. The spectacular views, quality of the facilities and outstanding food made our visit incredibly special We were warmly welcomed , delicious crab provided for supper and every need thought about by our excellent hosts in advance . Rooms are spacious, well appointed and everything you could need provided We took advantage of the BBQ on the deck, seating by the bay and the kayaks. We felt ‘ so at home’ and loved this corner of Vancouver Island .

Beautiful view, great host and the best breakfast!

The owners were lovely and very helpful. They took the time to explain things to us about the area. The breakfasts were outstanding. The view was great and the use of kayaks was a bonus.

I wish we'd known in advance that restaurants were 20 minutes away. We would have planned for making our own evening dinners at the inn from the first night. Got into the swing of things for the 2nd and 3rd evening. Other than that, it was very lovely.
