"Very nice pub, clean rooms, friendly staff and a good breakfast."

The location was convenient for local atractions and the Full English breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. We had a lovely stay and are looking forward to visiting again.

This is a minor point but the window latch was damaged making it difficult to open and leave on the latch to allow fresh air into the room on a hot day.

Clean and tidy, Nice bathroom with shower and shower gel and shampoo. TV was just about ok.

No food was available when we arrived on Saturday at 14.00. The room was unbearably hot and difficult to cool down, as it had only a ceiling fan and 2 small windows to open. Passageway was even hotter and the windows did not open. Beds were hard and a bit lumpy, and the shower head was not very efficient. The refreshments were of poor quality. Not good value for money.

Lovely people working in there. We really enjoyed staying there. I would definitely choose this place again.
