The room was clean and quiet and a short distance from the old town. The pub itself was cosy and seemed to host various live music events, not that you could hear the music from the room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, I would stay again.

Great location, near the beach and old town main attractions. Friendly helpful staff.

Windows not double glazed so can hear people on street level, bring ear plus just in case. Overall room decor is dated and basic but comfortable enough for a good night’s rest.

"Wer direkt in der Innenstadt übernachten will, kann es hier machen."

Das Hotel/Inn liegt in einer engen Nebenstraße, wo man einen Halteplatz in der Nähe mit Glück finden muss, um die Koffer abzuladen. Die Treppen zum Zimmer sind sehr eng. Die "Empfangsdame" hat uns den einen Koffer hochgetragen. Ist aber mühsam. Zimmer und Bett sind in Ordnung. Es gab sogar einen Kühlschrank, das erste mal auf unserer Rundreise. Frühstücken kann man in der Fußgängerzone in der Nähe. Gegenüber vom Hotel gibt es einen sehr interessanten Bäcker. Parken muss man am Zentralparkplatz, der ca. 1 km entfernt ist. Teuer, wie überall in England. Man betritt das Hotel durch den Hintereingang, wenn der Pub voll oder zu ist.
