"Comfortable with a great breakfast & good value"

The breakfast was excellent. It was left in our room which had a fridge and was good quality with everything we could want. The staff were accommodating & friendly.

The noise of the traffic as we had to have windows open (ear plugs were provided though). It was a shame the pub closed at 5pm so only just squeezed in a quick drink. A bit disconcerting being on our own in the building on Sun night to Mon.

"Perfect for an overnight stay on our way to and from our destination the pub food is exquisite"

Plenty of food left in the room for breakfast- large croissants, cereal, jug of orange juice and jug of fresh milk - fresh coffee, tea etc

"Exceptional"

A very warm welcome from this community run pub Clare who was checking us in was a delight nothing was to much trouble. It was the community Christmas dinner the evening we stayed and we were asked if we would like to join them which we did. The food was excellent and the locals made us feel very welcome. Would recommend this little place. The breakfast was pastries, yogurts, cereal and juice in the fridge in the room.
