The Tally Ho

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the bonus of an excellent continental breakfast set up in our room

It could have been warmer! We were told that there was a problem with the heating system

It was clean, comfortable and the lady was lovely and friendly when we arrived. Had a fantastic nights sleep and lovely continental breakfast

The bedrooms and bathrooms were simple but comfortable and clean. They had all the amenities needed for an overnight stay.

The main road isn't very busy overnight, but it is a fast road so noisy of you're not used to traffic noise. Alongside a kettle and all the requirements for tea and coffee, breakfast is provided in the room - a croissant covered in clingfilm and cereal, together with orange juice, milk, yoghurt and butter/jam in a mini fridge in the room. It's fine as a simple start to the day, but means you're not in a dining room together if you have travelling companions in a separate room.

Really enjoyed everything but wish there were designated parking spaces for guests who are staying, everything else was great though!

We thought that the 2 girls that were there on our arrival were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental style in our room. As much tea and coffee as we wanted plus a jug of orange juice in the fridge along with a jug of milk. We didn't eat in the pub as going to a party but the food looked excellent. I would definitely stay again if the need arose and i would highly recommend the Tally Ho. Great value for money.

The Tally Ho is ideally situated close to the M4 (but thankfully out of earshot!). The food is great, the accommodation is fine and the staff are friendly and first-rate.
