Excellent location. It’s probably as good or better than most places in this price range in São Tomé town. Very nice and helpful staff who gave good advice. Breakfast is simple but works well and we ended up having it nearly every day…..

Basic clean room. Ok for a one night stay. As we arrived the first night there was a street feast therefore it was loud and crowded around the place as its quiet central. Transfer from the airport worked all right. Basic breakfast.

Very poor communication from the stuff. This being said as we both me and my husband (him being Brazilian) speak Portuguese, so it was not a language barrier problem. I find the price per night too high and doesn’t much the quality of services offered.

The place is nice and the staff nice too. They didn't go over and above but did their job and filled any request I asked.

It is important to know that this hotel charges per person, not per room. So when I asked if I could swap to a twin room instead of a double as a friend was also visiting at the same time and we thought we could save some money by sharing a room, the price doubled. I wasn't told this at the time, so it was a bit of a financial shock to both of us. Also, the hotel had taken the full cost, a week prior, off the credit card provided to booking.com despite saying pay at property and free cancellation until 24 hours beforehand. I didn't realize and almost paid twice in cash. It wasn't until I asked for a receipt that I realised what had happened.

The room was very tide and smell well, electricity all night! Good swimming pool and bar. They let us leave our luggage for 5 days since we have to go to Prince and you can't take more than 15kg, very kind.

The breakfast is too little. The shower is too narrow and they definitely should change the tap and provide some shower gel
