"Not as charming as it used to be, but the location and parking saved it."

Location is prefect.

Only one person on staff and he seemed indifferent. Plus we stayed two days and the room wasn't cleaned. Also, no coffee available in the morning.

checking out, checking out, leaving. close to NBBHF in Cooperstown. I personally liked nothing about this place. See below.

where do I start. 1. carpet very dirty 2. matress hard as a plywood board 3. a/c stinks 4. shower low pressure 5. no shampoo, conditioner or shower gel 6. heard tennents above shower, walk about, talking. 7. previous reveiws below are suspect. this place has an odor and cleanliness problem. 8. the linens were old & thin, pillows flat. 9. what I found unsettling is the fact that reveiws on this Booking site rate this place highly. Nothing could be further from the truth. This place is substandard in my opinion. spend a little more and stay in a place more accommidating, cleaner, and less run down. The olde time charm that is mentioned is not even close to accurate.

"Convenient Location - Old School Charm"

Going in we knew it was not the most modern of places, we booked specifically for the location - which could not have been any more convenient. Was perfect if your sole intention was to visit the HOF and Cooperstown village.

Shower could have been bigger but really not a huge issue.
