The Tunnicliff Inn

The smell. It was musty.

If you must stay here, smell the room first. Ours smelled like Fabreeze -- sheets and pillows included. It was shabby, but acceptable, and was close to all of the main street places, so it may be okay for some.

We enjoyed the ambiance of a historic, colonial home in the center of Cooperstown. The location, for us, was perfect. We parked our vehicle and walked daily to the lake, Baseball Hall of Fame, the Farmer's Market, and the town. Tom met us at the front desk at check-in and graciously walked us to our room. Tunnicliff has an underground restaurant. We ate dinner there. The presentation of our salad was beautiful. Our chicken Parmigian was delicious. Tom is the chef!

We were delighted to receive an upgrade to room 214 on the first floor.

Good location close to Baseball Hall of Fame and also to lake front.

Building is old (but it worked)

Location was the main reason I chose this Inn, we parked the car for the weekend & walked around. Hall of Fame & stores right by the Inn.

Very old with no recent updates, very small shower, funny smell in our room, floor slanted so badly sleeping was terrible, window air conditioning unit that never seemed to really cool the room, no mini fridge, restaurant attached to it closes very early

Canceled upon arrival. Drove around 30 minutes looking for parking. Called to cancel and was told about hotel parking down small alley that our pickup wouldn't fit down. Was told by staff we should have planned better. No signs for hotel limited parking. I'm requesting 1 night credit minimum.

Very accommodating. Friendly staff. Clean and excellent location.

Location excellent! Walking distance to everything. The hotel dates back to 1802! I love staying in a place that has stood the test of time. Staff was pleasant and the room was comfortable and clean.
