The Crown & Kitchen

Room was very clean, staff welcoming. Coffee and tea in room plentiful. We are in the pub for evening dinner and breakfast and both were excellent.

Really good location with shops, cafes and pubs. The room was very clean and tidy. The cooked breakfast was delicious.

When we were shown to our room, I was disappointed to find that the "en suite" was across the landing. We are both over 70, the thought of leaving the room to visit the toilet during the night was not nice. This spoilt our stay here. I didn't complain as we would have had to find accommodation elsewhere at short notice. Nevertheless, the stay was comfortable.

Room good but windows and noise poor. Food good but beer garden gave a view of a building needing TLC.

Noise as windows provided no sound proofing or light proofing. But staff good and helpful

Beautiful bedroom. Very nice cooked breakfast. Decent coffee at breakfast.

Quiet location but good to have earplugs since bedroom windows single glazed (since listed building)

Vriendelijk personeel, ongedwongen sceer

De kamer had geen aangrenzende badkamer, daarvoor moesten we eerst een stukje over de gang. Het was lastig om een parkeerplek te vinden.

Lovely room. Great bathroom. Comfortable bed.

A few issues regarding water temperature/toilet etc. A little more information would have helped.

Been travelling around Scotland for a week , this was the best place we stayed in terms of room and lovely pub. Spacious room , we ate in pub which had a lively atmosphere & the food and drink was good . Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

On main road so was some traffic noise but didn’t keep us awake . Parking is off site and was quite busy on the road as we arrived.

Warm comfortable room above a welcoming pub with good food. Wife's intolerance for dairy and gluten were taken into consideration. Nice easy walks nearby

Busy little town, parking was not the best but near the hotel.
