Lovely location, superb rooms and excellent breakfast

Very comfortable bed; lovely bathroom

(1) The room was very hot on arrival (it’s in the roof) and the very heavy sash window wouldn’t stay open on its own. So we ended up wedging it with a bundle made up of the shower mat and some towels. (2) breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive from when we ordered it but it was excellent.

Perfect location for attending wedding at Broxmouth Courtyard. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food available in kitchen was of a high standard and some good food deals.

We weren't advised at booking that 1 of our rooms booked didnt have an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was very slow when it wasnt busy.

Breakfast was in our opinion not a very good quality, burnt sausage bacon 95%fat, always believed to say nothing if you cant say anything nice, on this occasion really disappointed, we accidentally spilt half a cup of coffee next to the bed closest to the window, we immediately reported it and attempt to clean it up, reported on check out staff told us not to worry and where absolutely fine, on way home we where told a £50 cleaning charge was added, considering what appeared to be a more visible large red win stain on the other side of the bed, we where in the Gallery room, paid straight away but the more we think about it the more disappointed we are, would be interested to know what the carpet looks like now?
