The friendly staff

No evening food available even though , we were lead to believe on reservation that bar meals were offered. No heating on in the bedroom / bathroom for the first night . The breakfast was poor / warmed up . We were asked what time we wanted to eat breakfast on the previous evening . We said 9 am but it arrived 9.45 am . Little choice but a fried offering

Our room, Town Square, was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was equally spacious but the shower proved extremely hot and we couldn't regulate it. We only saw staff in the bar at breakfast and they were friendly and helpful

Heavy goods vehicles were driving through the narrow streets at all times. The only parking was on the street and at times a considerable distance away. Unfortunately, building works were being carried out in the restaurant so that was closed. Our first two meals were upstairs in a yellow double decker bus, serving Chinese food; the first was quite good, the second way below parr. The final meal was at the Linton Hotel and was good. Breakfast seemed to be aimed at local workers, there were no light options. A member of staff volunteered to walk to the Co-op to buy cereals but although that was a kind offer would have taken time and was certainly not what was expected from a holiday venue.

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding nearby. The room was comfortable, very clean and the staff were lovely. Evening meal and breakfast were 10/10! Would highly recommend this guest house.

Poor breakfast, no description of items in the breakfast i.e. vegetarian breakfast. Would be nice to know what is actually included though. Server didn't really know. No continental offering of cereal or yoghurt. Toast was cheap white bread. Room was cold with no atmosphere. Slow service too.

Everything as per above, more breakfast offering. Not everyone wants a coooked breakfast, but that was all on offer. Bedroom needed to be redecorated, stains on carpet very off putting. Also the bar needs a decent coffee machine.

Situated in nice village. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere in bar.

Bedroom had separate bathroom but not en-suite. No spare sockets to plug in phone charger.
