The location was good for my needs , the room had was spacious and friendly staff.

Room unfortunately wasn’t ready on arrival - got to say not a big issue and staff were great.

The location was close to the meeting venue and on the main pedestrian high street, so everything was close by. This was really handy.

I was happy with the place and staff, so no complaints here.

Surprisingly quiet as it was above a busy pub, but very well sound proofed. The young woman who showed us up to the room was very chirpy and welcoming. The 'entrance' door was very inconspicuous and most definitely would not be recognised as an entry door to the rooms upstairs. It required a little knack to open, with a heavy push. It was clean, warm (once the heater was put on) and very central.

Bit of an odd place for accommodation - it's up an alley, and there was a bouncer standing at the door to the pub. We asked him how we went about booking in for the accommodation, he said he'd go find someone to help. Which he did, whilst we were left hanging around the entrance wondering where the accommodation was! The tiny kettle dribbled water when we poured it into the little cup and saucers. The bathroom was accessed by leaving the room and was a room next door, but we could not figure out how to lock it once inside, think it just needs a new lock. It wasn't a problem though, as it didn't seem like a busy place.

The room was clean and comfortable and I liked the shower.

The only thing I didn't like was that there were drunk people screaming outside on the highstreet. The people screaming had nothing to do with the hotel though so it's not the hotels fault.

Location and service were excellent, room was great. Check in at the main bar.

Central, clean and comfy

The location was right in the centre of town. I was staying to walk sections of the coast so being so close to the sea was a great benefit.

I found the lock on the shower/bathroom door (this was outwith my room) difficult to lock.

The bathroom would be better if there was a shelf for toiletries
