Spacious room and a separate bathroom which didn’t bother me at all. Views of the square and you could see the sea! Wonderful toiletries and kettle, tea bags, milk and comfy bed - what else do you need !!

Room was basic, and even with the window open was a bit hot during the night. Room 2 had a cupboard (access to a water tank) with a catch that kept opening.

The cleaner helped me to get an extra blanket and for this I was so greatful. The cleaner helped to remove rubbish from my room and kept my space feeling clean and welcoming. I greatful for the cleaner she woulderful and has amazing people skills. Frazbrough is a wonderful town and the people in the town are very welcoming.

I had no heating provided to me for 6 day and I was freezing. I have 9 health condition and being in a cold house makes these get worse. It was so bad that I had to purchase 2 heaters and put them in the room so I would be ok to shower and sleep warmer as the room was so cold at night I was shivering every night for 3 nights, after this I then bought the two heaters to stay warm. I spoke to the manager yet nothing ever got sorted and the heating remained of for the 6 days I was there. The boiler room cupboard kept opening when I was using the bathroom this really made me feel freaked out and uncomfortable. They need to put a lock on the cupboard as this is not hygienic and is really creepy.

The location couldn't have been better as we needed to attend appointments at the Fsithlie Centre. The view was first class, allowing us to breathe in the juxtaposition of the 17th Century Saltoun Square, all the Broad Street shops, and a glimpse of the state of the art fishing vessels such as Grateful. Cheers is a unique complex of function suites, beer gardens, and quaint alleways bedecked with beautiful hanging baskets. Shona, the manageress, went the extra mile to accommodate our urgent needs and has gained a place of honour in our recovery journey. She has received the prestigious Gouranga Award for the best hospitality provider of our detox vacation. Her has confirmed our conviction that The Broch will be our happy second home for many years to come.

Very poor local public transport links.
