"Basic"

Staff were friendly & our evening meal was nice

Very basic, lots of stairs, no good for people who struggle with walking etc. Very poor lighting in the room , 2 ceiling lights very dim & 1 bedside lamp between the double & single, the switch was behind the single bed, so we had to get out of bed to switch it off . We had tea, coffee etc in the room but could fill the kettle using the bathroom tap, we had use one of the mugs to fill it.

"Poor"

4.0

The location was good

Having booked an overnight bed and breakfast stay some weeks previously, we were told on arrival that there would be no breakfast. No apology was given but a £10 discount was given in ‘compensation’ off a £120 bill, hardly enough for 2 coffees let alone any breakfast elsewhere! Very basic room with old and tired furnishings. Curtain hanging off rail. No bedside lamps. Plumbing issues and bad smell.

"Great area, not so great accommodation"

4.0

Central location. Bed quite comfortable.

Tiny room for price, desperately in need of decorating and new furniture. Could hear all movement especially from neighbouring rooms. Could literally only just fit around end of bed to access bathroom and main door. Breakfast ok, long wait.

"Amazing place"

10.0

New owners have done wonders for Foresters Arms Such a lovely place to stay. Rooms are lovely and clean, food is beautiful, and staff are so friendly they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is a amazing. Danny (bar man) is the face of the family run pub. He is a diamond, from working in the bar, sorting breakfasts, doing odd jobs nothing is too much trouble for him. We enjoyed every minute and the locals who drink in here are so warm and welcoming. We've left with lots of lovely friends and happy memories Definitely looking forward to coming back August bank holiday.

"Overpriced, shabby pub in much need of updating."

1.0

Nothing to like about this place, other than the location.

We didn't get the breakfast that we paid for as they don't start until 8.30am. We were promised sandwiches at 7.30am but they did not appear so we had to leave without them.
