Tunjung Hill Cottage

Beautiful and clean facility, very well positioned. Host is very friendly. The most beautiful view of the starry sky you will ever see.

The view is breathtaking, the staff and the breakfast were more than what I expected! Beautiful rooms, very comfy and perfect to get away from the busy tourist paths. The location is a little difficult if you don't drive.

Would need to hire a motorbike to get to and from accomodation. Steep hills and a gravel path for a small amount of the way. Easily done if you’ve been scootering around the island already!

Nice and spacious bungalows. Shower was nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast simple but very nice!

You have to go up the mountain with sandy road to get to the place. The staff can bring you from/to the cottages but if you want complete freedom or drive yourself i would not recommend. In our room there was a gecko keep us up the night and pooping on the bed and in the bathroom. Staff offered a new room. Upon arrival there were some dead flies/little bugs to be found in/on the bed and on the coffee counter. But besides that very clean.

very pleasant and sincere place. wonderful view of the volcano. the rooms are clean and spacious. very comfortable mattresses for sleeping. Also, the owner was very friendly and always helped us with our questions. He suggested to us delicious places for dinner and beautiful places. we rented a very nice bike from him. delicious breakfasts, especially pancakes with banana, super tasty 😋 clean pool and well-groomed area. Near the pool you can enjoy a beautiful sunset and birdsong.

In the morning the birds sing and the geckos sing, you may need earplugs!

We absolutely loved Tunjung Hill Cottage. We were made to feel very welcome, everyone was really friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay an exceptional experience. We were even made a local Penida breakfast dish one morning called Ledok - it was delicious! The accompaniment ration was beautiful, and the pool was amazing. Thank you, we will be back soon (hopefully!)
