Anchorage Inn

Not much really. This can not be saved even by nice and kind people serving the breakfast.

I can not understand how this hotel has 4 stars!! No dedicated parking spots, hotel in the middle of the hill, not able to park a car at all on Saturday afternoon. Can not have a dinner in "public bar", need to move to hotel restaurant part of the facility..bar was noisy all night, you can hear the music to your room. After my reservation was done on booking.com, I asked for two separate beds, the answer was: "according to the availability", still ended up with one bed even that the hotel was not full at all!! Window can not be open as when opened, you can smell everything from the hotel's kitchen not mentioning the sound of the ventilator. I have to say, I have tried many accomodations across the county, suprisingly this was one of the worst! Above the town there is a Dominican college which looks like a huge prison or madhouse, not a nice city either, never again. I was shocked after all the nice photos and hotel review..

The guy on reception was absolutely lovely and the girls in the bar/restaurant brilliant. Great food and great service

The nearby nightclub triggered the smoke detection alarm at some point in the night.

We did not enjoy our stay at the Anchorage. The room was OK, but the access is poor and there is no parking. The room was not serviced during our stay. The breakfast was poor - no fruit and no brown bread! The restaurant was only open at the weekends so we had to have our evening meal in the pub, which was poor. TV screens everywhere. The worst thing was that we had to cut our stay short by one night and despite booking a flexible rate they have refused to refund our money. They blame it on Booking,com, but they assured me that it is the hotel policy.

It was good value for money

The single beds were really small. No parking spaces for customers.

Very clean, close to everything, staff are very friendly and accommodating excellent customer service

Breakfast was a cooked breakfast and served plated. Service was excellent the 1st morning. Bedroom was compact but well equipped.

The 2nd morning the breakfast was not very well organised. The buffet was not stocked aswell as the 1st morning but eventually the staff got things under control.
