Posada Ashanty

We could not have felt more welcome by Kildren, Sumaya and their neighbours on our trip to Providencia. The apartment was huge, very clean, had great air con and a gorgeous view from the balcony. Kildren and Sumaya organised snorkels and a scooter for us and were always available to help us in any way they could. Also, their neighbour Idana's cooking is incredible, we had the most beautiful fresh seafood meal courtesy of her! A perfect stay, could not recommend more!

We've had an amazing time in Providencia and our room at Posada Ashanty was perfect. It was well equipped, so we were able to prepare breakfasts there and then have them on our little terrace with the view onto the sea. The bed was huge and super comfortable, everything was very clean and well taken care of. The hosts have scooters that can be rented and we took one out for the entire time we've stayed there so it was extremely easy (and fun) to move around the island. Our hosts were amazing and attentive, always ready to answer our questions and help with booking tours, etc. Highly recommended!

Kildren is a great host and did everything he could in order for us to enjoy our short little stay. As I got unfortunately sick right before flying to Providencia our initially planned stay of two nights ended up just being a one night stay. We appreciated a lot that Kildren at the end only charged us for one night although he could have charged two and same goes for the scooter we rented from him. We had a great apartment with amazing view of the sea and the apartment was clean, very practical and the AC was also working great. Kildren also allowed us to check out later than official check out time due to no new guests arriving on the same day and this we appreciated as we had such a short stay. I would definetely recommend to stay here if you are visiting providencia!

The only downer was that the bed is slightly too hard so the quality of the sleep could improve with a bit softer mattress. There is also no WiFi and since the mobile data had bad reception here a WiFi would be helpful, but not a must.

Great host that helps out with everything that you may need (organized us a scooter for the time on the islands, gave us great restaurant recommendations, organized taxi to the ferry back to San Andres). Apartment is very spacious with everything one might need. Also comes with air-con. Great price value ratio, definitely would stay here again if I ever make it back to beautiful Providencia.

Everything! Kildren and his family could not have done more for us. They sorted us out with scooters, snorkels, water, a Moto taxi and on Christmas eve they even gave us some of their Christmas cake. The apartments were lovely and had everything we needed and the view was stunning..
