L'emplacement face au mekong, la chambre spacieuse

Le petit-déjeuner n'était pas tres varié et peu copieux et plutôt cher. Il n'était pas compris dans le prix de chambre.

Am Sonntag ist das Restaurant geschlossen - es gab kein Frühstück. Wäre gut gewesen, dass dies kommuniziert wird. Vielleicht beim Check Inn ?

The hotel was quite simple and inexpensive. I thought the mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and there are blackout curtains in the room which keeps it nice and dark for sleeping. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There were some kind of flying ants or termites that seemed to be infesting the property. I'm used to seeing that in the evening in this part of Asia but they were literally flying around all day, but worse in the evening. It made it impossible to enjoy the river view outside and the property was covered with their little dead bodies by morning, which weren't swept up. I stayed at another place further inland in Savannakhet as well as went to the night market which is near the water, and neither of those places had it as bad. I had to roll up a towel and put it by the bottom of the door so that they wouldn't come into my room. Maybe it's seasonal? But it was definitely worse than anywhere else I was in Savannakhet.

Douche niet koud en onder stroom. We mochten in een andere kamer douchen. Pijpleidingen badkamer maken een enorm kabaal als een andere kamer doucht!!!
