Pilgrim's Kitchen & Inn

The location by the Mekong River is excellent, with the restaurant terrace riverside, offering a great place to eat, drink and relax looking over the shimmering river over to Mukdahan, Thailand The restaurant food and service also very good, and reasonably priced. The rooms are adequately equipped, and clear with daily room service as required.

If you are staying at the Pilgrim on a Sunday, the restaurant is closed all day, meaning no breakfast, or any food service at all. This is quite a negative point, as it’s also not easy to find alternative places to eat, particularly breakfast, as many other restaurants in the area are also closed on Sunday, or do not open up until late morning. I strongly recommend that the owners of Pilgrim take note of this and at least offer a breakfast service say 8 am until 10 am on Sundays.

Ligging met uitzicht op de Mekong. Relaxte sfeer en heerlijk eten.

Personeel is zeer vriendelijk maar wij vonden dat de bediening iets sneller zou mogen. Maar misschien moesten we beter leren relaxen ;-)
