Check in is strictly no later than 22.00 Guests please note they do not receive a key for the outside doors. Please note we require guests to return by closing time ,23.00 Monday to Sunday. Entry to the property is not available beyond these times. We close at 11pm and request all guests to return by this tme - there is no access to the pub or rooms after 11pmPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

Second visit to The Rose and Crown and it is still exceptional, The rooms are lovely and clean, the food is impeccable and the staff couldn’t be any more attentive.

"Lovely and accommodating."

Richard was lovely, in fact all the staff we had interaction with were lovely and friendly. The food is amazing (Huge portions) we had a sharing platter for evening meal and we couldn't finish it and the breakfast was equally as nice. We requested an early check in which was accommodated.

The walls are so thin you can hear people talking/TV in the other rooms and the floor boards creek.

"This is a PROPER traditional local pub… homely and with lovely friendly people"

Richard the landlord is terrific… he gives the place such a nice vibe, and makes you feel so welcome! Plus the size and weight of the room key always makes me smile!

I need to get stronger in order to carry the room key downstairs.

Beautiful location, rooms were clean and kept in very good condition, no issues at all, also breakfast and meals which we had both night we stayed were home cooked and were excellent, definwill stay here again
