"Wonderful stay in old fashioned, homely country pub with amazing dog loving staff & great food & drink."

It is charming & cosy. Lots of interesting nooks & crannies, makes if feel homely. The staff were amazing, they were very friendly & helpful.

It’s close to a road & cars travel very fast on the road. Nothing the pub owners can do about this other than influence the council to increase traffic calming measures.

We had a great stay, you can fell that they are managing their hotel with their heart. In the morning you can enjoy your warm breakfast to fill your empty stomach before your journey. Their bread was freshly made with homemade marmalade. Their restaurant food was excellent as we had lunch and dinner there. Thank you.

Lots of character in this old building, sympathetically converted. Every need catered for by caring staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The place was immaculate. There were ‘touches’ around my room and the building itself that I’ve not even experienced in 4* or 5* properties. The food was also exceptional. I live in France so will not be able to return as soon or as often as I certainly would wish!
