Food was fantastic (dinner and breakfast) and rooms were comfortable.

DON'T BOOK VIA BOOKING.COM ... The Booking.com price was higher than via the Red Lion's own website. The Booking.com Price Match service would not refund the difference, so book direct.

Very attractive

The small double bed was very tricky. My husband is just 6ft tall but couldn’t really get comfortable .

"Lovely"

Very comfortable room. Good shower. Great ambience.

Windows don’t all open. Warm night. Needed them open. But on a busy road. Some rooms are not on the font. In winter this won’t matter.

"Nice people, nice food and a beautiful inn"

A fantastic old inn, just like you imagine an English inn would be. The staff was very nice and the food was good. The room was clean, with a spacious bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The traffic can cause some noise when it’s busy, because the inn is close to the road.
