Old world charm, lovely old building and grounds, good food in restaurant, friendly staff, if you can find them, but do not expect anything but the basics in your room. Tired, shabby, well used room - but more like a hostel with a lousy undersized bathroom. Long steep creeky staircase up to rooms - no good for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage. Most of the floorspace in rm #6 was taken up by a large useless jacuzzi tub; floorspace which should be used to enlarge the bathroom and shower! Dont expect luxury here. We even left 1 day early, even after paying in advance for 2 nights; couldnt spend another night there. Suggest you request to see your room before paying upfront. 1st place I've ever stayed where you have to pay before you stay! Overpriced, understaffed but cool old building. Price should be $99 night.

Very disappointed when we were giving top floor room ,when we promised a first floor room,unfortunately I had to demand to see the manager or owner,I had to show the message from owner promising us first floor room before I got any action.After room sorted out.The rest of the stay was very pleasant,

The height of stairs,have a bad back and knee.unfortunately that’s what comes with old historic buildings.

Très bruyant

L'emplacement géographique, prêt du canal Rideau, des boutiques et restaurant. La propreté des lieux, même si l'emplacement est veillot. Chambre à 2 lits jumeaux était coquette. Le frigidaire très performant, cafetière et café en quantité suffisante, verres de vin à notre disposition.

La chambre trop petite. Bcp d'escaliers à monter. Le manque de savon pour le corps dans la douche un tout petit tube était disponible pour 2 personnes. À cause de l'installation de base de l'air climatisé installé dans la fenêtre, et l'emplacement de la chambre sur la Main Street, beaucoup de bruit des voitures et camions très très tôt le matin. On parle d'un déjeûner à 20,00$ ? À 8h30 le matin la salle à manger et la terrasse extérieures sont fermées et aucun personnel sur place. On a dû aller demander du savon pour la douche et des verres de café supplémentaire à deux reprises. C'est la serveuse qui est venue après sa période de travail. Manque de personnel.

Very hot weather made the small window a/c work too hard and noisy. Not the Inn’s fault but hard to sleep.

Great location with character. Victorian style decor. Very pretty.

Mattress could be changed. It was too soft.

The only thing that wasn’t excellent was that the wi-fi was very slow for tv and iPads, but we totally understand that is not unusual for a rural area
