Location worked for weekend plans

Staff was abrupt. Breakfast was not included it was an extra even though advertised as B&B. Rooms were clean but shower and bathrooms very small. One room had cracked toilet seat

Room comfortable dinner good

The room was small but perfectly ok for my needs. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom might not suit a very large person but I’m 6’2” and am not a lightweight and I was OK. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed the folk singing group in the evening (especially my mum!)

Not a lot. The room was clean and tidy but the building is old and has been subject to alterations over the years. This is evident in the inconsistencies of wall and ceiling finishes. However, I think this adds to the character.

Location, friendly and welcoming staff, private parking, excellent breakfast.

The couple who own the venue are extremely friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and you felt really cared for.

The rooms are very basic and the shower cubicle quite small
