Nicolai's Mine Camp

Beautiful area. Small, but charm room.

I prefer I have private bathroom in this price. But no problem. The shared bathroom was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was good but served in the bar with a few locals around made it very special.

Everything was tops!

Rustic, off the beaten path quiet location.

The property appeared to be a bunk house type from long ago. Updates made the rooms into a self-contained space. Check-in and check-out were done without any staff. Breakfast was adequate. We were able to tour the property and see the very long and involved model train layout that went from building to building.

Mud and weeds. The outside of the property looked like outside maintenance was lacking.

kitchen is clean and big.

Very easy check in, doors had code for access, rooms were spacious and clean

Price, but everything in Alaska is expensive
