Rudest staff I have come across. We had booked through Booking.com some 8 months earlier. The booking was confirmed. On arrival we were told there was no booking and that Booking.com was at fault. The staff were dismissive and couldn't give a stuff. It was 5.30pm and they did not offer any suggestions as to where we could go to get alternative accommodation. We tried another hotel and whilst there was no room they rang around to help us find somewhere.

Our first time here, and we're definitely coming back. We stayed for one night with our little dog, the room was very comfy, cosy and exceptionally quiet considering it's above the bar. The room was basic but very clean and everything was there. We had both evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent 👌 we made a point of thanking the chef for breakfast 😀 and for the area not overpriced! Staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous. The location was perfect 👌

The only negative was the steep stairs to the bedroom, but this wasn't an issue for us. This is just the nature of the building so can't be helped...

Breakfast was excellent. It was a pleasant facility to stay in for our duration.
