Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good. Cereal juice cooked breakfast. All we needed for a good start to the day. Restaurant served variety of good food and was reasonably priced. Easy to park. Great location just off main Street. Would recommend and stay again.

Nothing. Rooms quite small but it is an old pub so expected and didn't spend much time in room.

Absolutely nothing!

Bedroom (3) was in a very poor state with an odour either from a broken drain or sewer. Window frames were rotten. The staff were all inappropriately dressed and totally untrained. They gave the impression of being travelling people who were quite out-of-place in an hotel. The whole place appeared ‘down-at-heal’ and the overall appearance was that the place was about to close down. There isn’t a good restaurant in Bourton so recommend stay in Lower Slaughter!

Very good location. Nice breakfast.

Bed quite hard. Room not made up for whole stay - Bed not made, cups not washed, tea/coffee/milk not topped up even when I asked. Staff looked scruffily dressed.

Location, price and staff was lovely and very dog friendly which you don’t find most places.

I didn’t not like anything to be honest, I would just say the rooms could do with small amounts of renovation as some parts have wear and tear.

The staff were all fab so was the breakfast & the location . Lovely pub.

The room was stuffy & the toilet would randomly flush at night waking you up.

The location and historic nature of the hotel was great. The young woman who organised breakfast was very pleasant and helpful.

We didn’t like the mattresses. A comfortable bed when you are walking from pub to pub is probably the most important requirement. When the mattress makes “ spring” noises and the wall of the mattress is caved in, it tends to suggest that it’s long overdue for replacement. The rooms barely pass muster as a three star hotel. The room was dated and dingy, with very steep narrow stairs and lots of fire doors. We didn’t like the lack of healthy options for breakfast- no fresh fruit or yoghurt.
