The Green Iguana Hotel

So charming! We stayed there one night after a sailing the BVI. Took a dip in the pool, enjoyed our host's recommendations for dinner, and LOVED the views from our balcony (and the pool). Our friends stayed in another place that was much more expensive and on the other side of the island.

Really fun comfortable place! Owners went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

The host people at the hotel were wonderful! They welcomed me when I arrived and supplied me with so much information for transportation and restaurants and what to do. I felt very comfortable there.

I wish they could’ve stayed longer

Location above and out of the bustle of downtown, yet close enough to walk down the ‘99 steps’ to get to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Peaceful pool area with a nice view. Comfortable rooms. Very helpful owners who helped up with their favorite spots. The place has its own courtyard with a peaceful sitting area. Right by Black Beard Castle.

Have to take a taxi to the beach.

Great location! Walkable to down town via the 99 Steps. Out of the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Amalie. Lyndsey & Chase are gracious hosts and the room was spotless! They gave us excellent recommendations about all things Charlotte Amalie. Just steps from Black Beards restaurant.

Location was great. The couple that runs it were very helpful in giving us information about dinner and how to get around.

The only reason I gave the facility a nine and out of 10 is cause the water pressure in the shower was not too good. But that was a minor detail. Everything else was great.

The room was clean and comfortable with a truly great view of the harbor. The owners were very friendly and had lots of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat around town.

Bathroom door needs to be higher off the tile floor. It would be nice to have the bed up against the opposite wall, too close to the bathroom.
