Chongos Place

Unsere erste Unterkunft in Costa Rica bei Eduardo und seiner Familie hätte nicht besser sein können. Die Lage ist so schön ruhig und mit perfektem Blick auf El Arenal und den liegenden Häuptling. Unsere Hütte war sehr gemütlich und man konnte auch bei starkem Regen draußen sitzen und die Abendstimmung genießen. Eduardo spricht sehr gut deutsch und ist äußerst freundlich und kommunikativ. Der Pool war auch sehr angenehm und auf der Weide nebenan grasen Kühe und ein Pferd. Alles in allem sehr idyllisch und wir haben jeden Tag sehr genossen.

The place was great! It exceeded my expectations, very pretty, well-maintained, and with many birds. The swimming pool was also great, and having a little garden in front of the volcano was a plus (although it was raining, so we couldn't see it, still, you feel amazed by the nature surrounding you.

I liked everything. The place is a bit far if you don't have a car, and it would've been great if they'd offered breakfast, although to be fair, the room came with a kitchen, so I could've prepared it myself. We ended up going to town instead.

Excellent location in La Fortuna, joungle sounds but no sounds from the streets. Very friendly owner. Beautiful garden and….the Arenal view. I highly recommend. :-)

The shower could be a bit better (but that is a tiny problem).

Very lovely, peaceful, convenient location.
