The Railway Inn Westerfield

Staff member who checked us in was friendly. Atmosphere seemed nice in the bar and restaurant. Good sized room and although we didn’t have any it was nice to have continental breakfast available for the room. Plenty of parking.

Bed was uncomfortable for me so didn’t sleep well but that’s just my preference as my husband was ok with it.

Booked to attend a wedding on site. Really convenient for that obviously but also for access to town - walkable. Really friendly staff. Good breakfast and well stocked fridge. Crazy golf was good.

Some rubbish positioned around carpark. Could be removed by hiring a skip and would uplift the area quite a lot. I’m being picky but seems such an easy detail to fix.

Modern and clean.

It was very hot and couldn’t figure out how to turn radiator off!

A wonderful hidden gem ideally situated. Well maintained and very thoughtfully planned. Will definitely visit again.

Slightly out of town in the green belt. A nice long walk into the centre of Ipswich and the Christchurch museum park. Amazing fish and chips. Good beer. Continental breakfast gave the flexilibilty to have a lie in.

The vanilla diffuser in the room smelt of tobacco. Everything else really lovely.
