The Railway Inn Westerfield

I wasn't expecting breakfast so it was a very pleasant surprise to find continental breakfast bits in the room and on the landing. Good choice of breakfast, teas and de caff available. Maybe you should advertise as breakfast included? I travel for work a bit on quite a tight budget (£60 room only, £67.50 b&b) so this place really exceeded expectations. The room was wonderful for the price. Would definitely stay again if in the area and its still within budget. Thanks

The breakfast was delicious and very generous. The location has beautiful views over the countryside. The staff were really helpful and kind. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our only criticism was of the mattress which was too soft and didn't give us the support we need. We realise this is a personal preference and others prefer different levels of support.

Lovely location, room was beautiful everything was considered from the amazing and comfortable bed to being supplied with water in bottles, cereals and fruit and more items for guests to have in the communal hall. Staff were lovely and very helpful, stayed for the breakfast which was really nice. Fantastic value for money and we will be back for sure.

Big comfortable rooms, lovely bar with extensive menu . Best cooked breakfast I found in Suffolk. Staff very welcoming, lovely place to stay

What a great place. A pub/inn I would always like to visit for its ambience, friendly staff great food and drinks. To stay here and catch the train to Ipswich (6 minutes) was a real bonus. A very enjoyable stay. Recommended.
