It was a great experience to sleep in a big, beautiful, authentic Greek house and see a museum that was created with heart and soul. On the last day, we were most surprised by the famous Cretan hospitality. We didn't ask for breakfast, but Dimitris made sure we had energy. Dear Dimitris, I am so envious that you have become a best tik-tok friend (me :) Your flowers love the Hungarian air. Don't forget that we still have to cook together, to which we will invite the TV. :))) We are thinking of you with love!!!

Beautiful accommodation!

Breakfast was very good. The location was lovely. Even though I only stayed one night, nothing was too much trouble. It was so nice to stay in a traditional Cretan house rather than a soulless modern buulding.

The only downside was lack of parking but a staff member drove me to the airport to collect my car.

Wonderful experience: the place is amazing, clean room with original forniture, a pretty museum of Cretan tradition inside the place and last but not the least, the host is the most important entertainment point: kind, hilarious and prodigal. The dinner and the subsequent breakfast were simply exquisite. Strongly recommend.

Dimitris is waited an extra hour when my flight was delayed, to let me in at 2am. He helped organise for the car rental company to pick me up rather than taking a taxi there. He allowed us to have late check out and to leave our luggage in the room. He was was friendly and super helpful. The hotel is in a very quaint village and there is a folk museum inside the hotel. :)

Dimitris was a top host, will go out his way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay

Left early at 4 am - so no breakfast, I am sure it would have been perfect - when everything is so surprisingly fine and unique you do not pay attention like you would regarding run-of-the-mill accommodation. As said by so many satisfied guests already the real attraction of this accommodation is Mr Dimitris, the owner, the museum director, the waiter, the interesting discussion partner with excellent sense of humor interspersed with deep reflections and thoughts and most of all going out of the way to serve you beyond the normal. Example , in the middle of the night 4 pm he ordered the taxi and followed us to the airport (of course he was going to Athens himself to cast his vote) Thank you Mr Dimitris !

Really close to the airport, really friendly host, we had drinks and fruits in the fridge and our child received a present from the owner in the morning. Warm people who are happy to see you coming to their country!
