Lovely hotel and staff at an absolute amazing spot! Staff was really helpful and breakfast was amazing! Would definitely go back!

Tolle Blick auf die Berge. Ruhige Lage kurz außerhalb vom Zentrum. Trotzdem nur 8mkn zu Fuß. Super leckeres Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal. Alles ganz leicht erreichbar. Man kann zu Fuß zum Little Adams Peak oder mit dem TukTuk für wenig Geld.

Ella (2 nights, family with two teenagers, 2 rooms) Fantastic location with a beautiful view. It’s easy to walk to the town center with restaurants, as well as to attractions such as Little Adam’s Peak (including the cable car) and the Nine Arch Bridge. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, and a generous selection of food with both Western and Sri Lankan options. Everything was tasty and well prepared. The hospitality was also excellent, very warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay.

The rooms are very nice visually, but they felt quite humid and one of the rooms had a noticeable musty smell. The owner was aware of the issue and did what he could to help. We asked to change rooms, but since there are only three rooms and all were occupied, that was not possible. A dehumidifier was placed in the room, which made the second night more comfortable. Housekeeping could also be improved slightly. We noticed some cobwebs on the lamps and a few insects in the bathroom corners. The mattress looked quite worn under the sheet.

We had a great stay at the Leisure Dream Inn in Ella.  The room was basic but air conditioned and comfortable with a fantastic view of the mountains.  Shan prepared an amazing breakfast each morning which we ate on the balcony enjoying the beautiful view.  He was also incredibly helpful providing recommendations and organising Tuk Tuks (mainly with Chanaka - a very reliable driver) to our various outings as well as a taxi to our next destination.  There is loads to do in and around Ella and we spent 5 amazing days there.   Thanks Shan for being such a great host.

Tolle Lage mit weitem Blick, sehr freundliches Personal, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück.

Wir übernachteten im November im Zimmer rechts von der Rezeption. Der Schlafraum roch stark nach Chemikalien, das Bad (dringend renovierungsbedürftig) stank nach Kloake. Die Tür zum Bad lies sich nicht schliessen, so dass wir die Nacht in äußerst schlechter Luft zubringen mussten. Das Fenster konnte wegen der Mücken nicht geöffnet werden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren schon vor Benutzung feucht. Wir beendeten unseren Aufenthalt nach nur einer Nacht.
