Smell in the room

This was a dream stay. Every time I saw the view, it took my breath away. Chathura and the staff were very good hosts. They made us feel very welcome and gave us good advice on waterfalls and other day trips in Ella. The breakfast each day was delicious and was enjoyed outside on the terrace. Ella was our favourite stay on our trip. Very beautiful. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. Good distance from the town and easy to get to.

Hotel is located in a very nice place and gives a view to the mountains. So even during breakfast time you can enjoy nice views. The staff is friendly and helpful, can arrange tuk tuk to anywhere you need in Ella. Breakfast were also one of the best ones we had while travelling and staying at different places in Sri Lanka, especially fresh juices!

The room is very small and if you come 2 people with bigger luggages, it can be difficult to find a place for them. Bathroom is very small too. But despite these things, it's fine for a short stay.

The hotel had great views, attentive and friendly staff, and served delicious and varied breakfasts each day. The bed was comfortable and facilities met our needs (eg, air con, mini fridge). I loved being served breakfast directly outside our room and observing the wildlife from the front porch. The hotel is far away enough from the main road to ensure a quiet and peaceful stay, though also close enough to town so one can walk in easily. Overall we were very pleased and found this to be good value for money.

The bathroom was small and its design could be better.
