great location! you feel totally lost in the mountain jungle 😎 very close to the train station room was good, quite clean

a cockroach in the cupboard 😮 water pressure not very good and the bed sheets could be better of course but I understand how hard it is to maintain the basic comfort in such a remote area

"Great place to stay in Ella"

Beautiful room about 10 minutes walk from the main town of Ella. Gorgeous outlook and fantastic clean room. Lovely hosting, friendly, pleasant helpful and trays of tea very welcome. Slope to room is steep but not an issue. Our lovely host carried my luggage. Enjoyed chatting to our Belgian neighbour on the terrace.

Wi-Fi was slow but that has been the same in most places in the North. Plenty down in the restaurants.

"Wonderful stay in the Forrest"

Nice location in terms of feeling like in the Forrest. Rooms size is adequate. Staff super friendly and happy to help with tuk tuk rides (additional cost of course) and offer advice. Sanath (family member and professional tuk tuk driver) kindly showed me down to 9 Arch bridge from a Cafe and clicked some photos for me too.

It is rather steep elevation to walk up to rooms. Staff are always happy to help with luggage.

Beautiful location with a very nice view! Nice hosts! Welcome drink and at the end we get pancakes, that was so nice!

The room smells a bit musty, because of the high air humidity. The water pressure in the shower could have been higher.

Very welcoming, they offered a cup of tea when we arrived. Beautiful area and spacious and clean room with balcony. Unbeatable value for cheap price.

Walking distance to town, comfortable matress, friendly owners

No possibility to book breakfast even though written in booking, due to rainy season very damp and smelly, communication difficult, construction Work for more rooms in top and next to it, so no sleeping in or relaxed afternoon
