The location was very peaceful and the view was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good place to relax for a short stay.

Food options were a bit limited and the service was slightly slow at times. Also, the road to the place was a little difficult.

Ravi et son épouse ont été extrêmement accueillant. Nous avons aussi mangé un délicieux rice and curry. Ravi nous a aussi montré la vallée et emmené jusqu'à une cascade magnifique. Et nous a emmené jusqu'à l'Adam Peak puis Haputale. Je recommande +++ On oublie pas le lieu extrêmement apaisant avec la rivière

Ravi is a certified local guide and can assist you with anything you need throughout you stay! Wonderful breakfast and also an amazing authentic dinner option. Rock View Rest Hatton felt like a comfortable, well-run homestay and it suited our trip perfectly. The owner lives on the property in a separate section, so the place feels safe and well maintained, and he was genuinely kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Our room was spacious enough for four people, the beds were large and comfortable, and having reliable hot water was a big plus. There’s also a separate dining area, and the balcony view is really nice, with a river down below which adds a calm atmosphere. The location was one of the biggest advantages for us because it’s right next to the main road, making it very easy to find and convenient for getting around. We also tried their food and found it tasty, filling, and reasonably priced.

The TV in our room was not working.

I had a very nice stay here. The owner is good, kind, and very helpful, and her daughter is also so nice she gave me back my balance money with a smile and was always laughing, such a friendly family. The whole family is very welcoming and take good care of guests. The owner lady also arranged tuk-tuk transport for me, which made it very easy when I checked out in the evening and went to the city. The location is good and convenient, the place is cool and quiet, and the bathroom is modern and clean. I had booked a 2-bed in the room, but the owner gave me another room instead — it was still comfortable and okay, but in the future I hope the booking does not get changed, because sometimes this can make guests upset. Still, I really enjoyed my stay here, the hospitality was excellent, and the family made me feel at home. It was a good welcome and a nice stay overall. I will stay again for sure.
