Rock View Rest Hatton

Location was good, clean spacious rooms, friendly owner and his family who gave lot of tips of good locations to travel, flexible payment processes. Value for money.

Part of the hotel was not fully constructed, so outer appearance was a bit unsatisfactory. Food was average.

The owner of the place was the most adorable person we ever met. We have bin with Ravi for 2 whole days and he showed us around Hatton. If you want luxery go some where else , if you want sri lanka take this couple with there guesthouse. We will remember Ravi and his family for their efforts to make our stay a unforgettable stay.

The stairs are a bit vertical. It may be challenging for those with limited knee mobility.

Amazing location with a beautiful view of the nature and stream right from the bedroom window and terras. The hosts are very lovely and helpful and make a delicious western or sri lankan breakfast for you. Thank you for the nice stay!

The hygiene in the room and bedroom could be better.

It was a wonderful stay at the rock view rest. We were lucky enough to find this place last minute. We were driving around the mountains and wanted to find a place for the night. The owners were super reactive and kind. We traveled with our 7 month old baby and the room was spacious and comfortable (we brought our own baby bed). We had a lovely dinner prepared by the owners that same evening and breakfast in the morning. We were heading to Arugam bay, but the owner proposed to us to go to Adam's peak. He drove us there the next day and waited for us to walk Adams peak. After we arrived back his wife prepared us some fried rice and we hit the road again.

Ravi and his wife are the sweetest couple I’ve ever met. They picked us up from Colombo airport at 11pm and took us back to the stay 4 and a half hours away on very short notice. They provided lovely meals and the best service. Plenty of activities to get done here too (waterfalls/ tea tours/ amazing views).
