Ravi and Vasanti are amazing hosts! Their place is unique, located next to a beautiful waterfall in the little rainforest outside of town. The room is big and comfortable with a balcony where to sit and relax with the sound of the water flowing, the birds singing and the monkeys playing. Ravi is also a great communicator and tour guide, he can drive you to the most espectacular attractions in Hatton surroundings, such a te plantations, temples, waterfalls and mountains with his private Tuk Tuk. His wife is very kind and she’s a great cook, you can have breakfast and all the meals at the spot. We had a lovely stay, totally recommended!

we loved the rock view Rest Hatton. the lovely owner Rawi and his wife are very friendly and try to make everything possible (buying train tickets, driving you to the station for free, etc). the location is situated perfectly at a small river where you can take a sunbath on the rock or refresh yourself. The best experience has been the private tour with Rawi, he showed us the most beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka!

in general the humidity in hatton/the location is very humid, therefore the clothes and towels do dry very slow. Just keep that in mind if you want to stay a few days.

Great room ...nice location just out of Hatton .quiet with river and bush views ..nice walk over the bridge to lake..quiet ,scenic road .

Everything was perfect

Staying with Ravi and his family was absolutely amazing!!! The Location is perfect: outside of hatton, close to the lake and directly at a nice river. Ravi picked us up from the train station for free and helped us even before we came with finding the right train. His wife is a great cook and even prepared food for us which wasn't on the menu when we asked for it. If you want to make a tour to Adams peak or waterfalls, Ravi gives you a lot of information and can even make a tour with you. We just enjoyed staying in and around the accomodation as it is such a beautiful area and we needed some time to rest. We can highly recommend the homestay and would always choose this place again.

The friendly family, nice food, lovely stay. The owner went with us to Gartmore falls, which was absolutely beautiful. You can swim on top of the fall. He brought us lunch. The waterfall is a hidden gem, not yet discovered by tourists. Thr drive through the traplantations is stunning. Go to Hatton!

Nothing, but ask for the top room, that is absolutely the best room.

Owner very friendly and helpful View of the river is amazing. We stayed in the monsoon season so the water was very fast running water too fast to swim unfortunately. Breakfast was great, see photos on Google reviews. Local area walks along the road have amazing views of tea plantations & lake etc. Saw tea pickers at work 8am before breakfast. Walk towards the lake & down into the plantation amazing views Good value for money Recommend.
